UCF has the vision of producing high quality professional teachers through our work-based on-site training, and also producing scholars and researchers through our master and doctoral programs. In line with this, UCF is proud to be the only higher learning institution in Malaysia and South East Asia accredited and recognised by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Yes, UCF is indeed an IB higher learning institution, and indeed we are affiliated with the Fairview network of IB World Schools in Malaysia and Scotland. By this, our graduates can be gainfully employed in private and international schools around the world.
Since its establishment in 2012, UCF has strived hard to be a prominent institution offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of education. We constantly grow, expand, and gain accreditation and recognition from time to time. Today, UCF study programmes are fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualification Agency, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE). This testify that we are genuinely serious in our commitment to maintain academic quality and excellence as a higher learning institution. To this effect, a recent evaluation by MOHE using the SETARA benchmarking standards on public and private institutions, UCF has been rated categorically to be among the highly “Competitive” institutions in 2022. One of our standout accomplishments is our impressive 100% graduate employability rate, a testament to the calibre of education and training we provide at UCF. Our graduates have gained employment at private or international schools in Malaysia and many other countries in the world. Our modules and courses have been meticulously crafted to align with the domains of knowledge and the Standards and Practices outlined by the International Baccalaureate (IB) educator certificates. These modules and courses focus on critical areas such as curriculum processes, innovative teaching and learning strategies, comprehensive assessment and evaluation methods, and continuous professional development.
