HRDF (UCF-PGDE and ICAEW-CFAB) Approved Training Courses
We offer a range of high-quality, structured programmes designed to meet professional development needs. Our courses are approved for HRDF (Human Resource Development Fund) claims, allowing eligible individuals and their organisations to offset training costs.
A. Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) Modules
The Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) modules are MQA (Malaysian Qualifications Agency) approved programme modules. These are ideal for educators looking to deepen their pedagogical expertise and advance their careers.
Teachers may apply for HRDF funds for these modules via their school.
Programme Structure & Awards
By completing specific clusters of modules, you can earn internationally recognised qualifications.
Core Teaching Modules (1-3)
These modules form the foundation of effective teaching practice:
- Exploring Teaching and Learning (EETL)
- Teaching and Learning in Action (ETLA)
- Developing Professional Practice (EDPP)
IB Pathway Modules (4-7)
Upon completion of Modules 4, 5, 6, and 7, you are eligible to apply for the IB Teaching & Learning Certificate.
- IB Curriculum Processes (EIBC)
- IB Teaching and Learning (EIBT)
- IB Assessments and Learning (EIBA)
- IB Professional Learning (EIBP)
Research & Final Award (8-9)
Upon successful completion of all modules (1 through 9) , you will be awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) .

B. ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (ICAEW CFAB)
The ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (ICAEW CFAB) is an internationally recognised qualification that builds essential knowledge across business, finance, and accounting.
It is ideal for professionals working in the accounting, audit, and finance sectors, providing a strong foundation for career growth and professional accreditation.Individuals in these sectors may apply for HRDF training funds for this programme through their organisation.
Subjects Covered
The CFAB curriculum covers seven key subject areas:
- Law
- Assurance
- Accounting
- Principles of Taxation
- Management Information
- Business, Technology and Finance
Entry Qualifications
To enrol in the ICAEW CFAB, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- SPM: A pass in SPM or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 5 credits including Mathematics and English; OR
- O-LEVEL: A pass in O-LEVEL or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 5 credits including Mathematics and English; OR
- Other Qualifications: Any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
Progression Pathway
Upon successful completion of the ICAEW CFAB, you can progress to the full ACA (ICAEW) qualification, a globally respected chartered accountancy designation.
